Since most pendant parts are vintage, they have already aged gracefully and will retain their beauty for years to come. As necessary, carefully clean your pendant with a soft jewelry polishing cloth. Crocheted "chain" part of necklaces may be spritzed with water (avoid water spray on pendant!) and placed on a towel to dry. As with any jewelry you own, please apply lotions, perfumes, or hairspray before putting on your jewelry to avoid harsh chemicals coming into contact with your treasures.
Are all of your pieces handmade?
Yes! I handcraft each piece in my Leesburg, Virginia studio.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every order from The Elegant Muse is wrapped beautifully, carefully, and securely, and this service is FREE. So even if you're ordering a treat for yourself, it will arrive in your mailbox as a "gift" (and isn't that fun?!)
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as well as payments via PayPal.
What are your shipping options?
You can be confident that your purchase will be shipped with the same love and care with which it was created. Orders are shipped USPS First Class FREE of charge to continental USA addresses within 1-3 days of purchase. If you prefer, you may choose USPS Priority at checkout for an additional fee.
Do your ship internationally?
At this time I only ship to USA addresses, but may branch out to other countries in the future.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
The Elegant Muse designs are created with great attention to detail, and I’m confident that you will be happy with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied, returns or exchanges are available within 10 days of the date you receive the merchandise on unworn merchandise only. After 10 days, all sales are final. Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.
Because my pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited edition, I strive to provide detailed and accurate descriptions of each item. Please keep in mind that colors may read differently depending on your computer screen.
May I order one of your necklaces in a different length?
Yes! If you need a shorter or longer necklace, please contact me either using the chat feature or via email at suzanne@theelegantmuse.com. Please allow additional time and possibly a small fee.
