Online and boutique shopping

repurposed vintage necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings
I think it’s safe to say we all enjoyed our online shopping experiences during the pandemic. As it was pretty much the only option we had, many of us dove into it with relish seeking every birthday, wedding, baby, and graduation gift along with books and puzzles to keep ourselves from losing our minds during lockdowns. Cyber shopping is convenient, time-saving, and usually fairly simple. And with our lives seemingly getting busier and busier, I expect online shopping will continue to grow.
But for me there’s nothing like an in-person boutique shopping experience  - especially when it includes gracious, old-fashioned customer service as found at Twigs, a delightful shop in Purcellville, Virginia.

The shop is located in a turn of the century home, complete with a charming front porch area filled with vintage items. As I enter the shop a string of bells on the doorknob jingle and within seconds I am welcomed by a staff member, always wearing a warm smile. The shop itself is like a mini shopping mall - jewelry, clothing, home decor, vintage treasures, children’s items, and more. If I need help finding a gift, the staff is always willing to make suggestions and share different artists’ offerings and stories with me.

I am honored to have had a selection of my jewelry at Twigs for many years now. Of course, when I deliver pieces to the shop, I rarely leave without purchasing a unique and lovely gift (sometimes for myself!).
