I love a custom request - especially when it sends me on a treasure hunt for lovely things like this vintage sterling silver treble clef. But I also love working with a client to create an heirloom piece for someone they love - a gift the receiver will cherish for many years to come.
This necklace was made for a daughter who is a concert pianist (see @Shanda Evans and her violinist daughter, Caitlyn in photo below). So of course, in my overactive imagination, a part of me will be traveling to each concert and venue with her, enjoying the sweet reverberation of the piano in the concert halls . . .well, a girl can dream, can’t she?
