Be bold! Wear a Touch of Red Even When It's Not a Holiday!

 red vintage pearl necklace

When I was growing up, the fashion rules included:

1. Never wear white shoes before Easter or after Labor Day.

2. Never wear black to a wedding.

3. Always wear a nice dress (and uncomfortable, stiff, patent leather shoes) to church.

Personally, I’m thankful for some of the changes to fashion rules. And I particularly love seeing someone wear a red piece of jewelry when it’s not Christmas, Valentine’s Day or 4th of July.

If you love a color, you should feel the freedom to wear it any time of year. So go ahead, be bold. Wear red (or whatever your favorite color may be) any month of the year!

And be sure to see my current one-of-a-kind red pieces here (they go quickly so if you don’t see one just shoot me an email at suzanne@theelegantmuse.com)
