I confess, I had to do a bit of research on this question. I knew that a brooch was a decorative pin and to broach a subject was to bring it up. Yet, I’ve heard the decorative pin pronounced both as a word rhyming with “pooch” and as a word rhyming with “coach!” Since I planned to make and talk about these lovely decorative pieces, I certainly wanted to be sure I was pronouncing the word correctly!
As it turns out - according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary - both pronunciations for these unique pins are correct. Whew! Isn't it nice when everyone's right?
Some of the brooches in this new collection were created with antique buttons and some with vintage jewelry pieces. I love how they turned out and can’t wait to start sharing them with you. So classic, and oh so elegant!
Each is also one-of-a-kind, so please join my list to be the first to know when they’re available!
