More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s Disease. It’s long been in my heart to create a piece to honor those who’ve suffered a loss as well as those currently coping with this heart-wrenching disease.
The color purple and an elephant are symbols of Alzheimer’s - purple tends to be the last color Alzheimer’s patients recognize, and the elephant is an animal that never forgets.
Through December 31, 2020, I will be donating 20% of the proceeds of the sale of this bracelet to Alzheimer’s Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
